Subluxation

Q. What is a subluxation?

A subluxation occurs when two bones in the spine (vertebrae) misalign and cause interference in the nervous system by altering the messages through the spinal column from the brain. The level of the spine where the subluxation occurs determines which nerves to the body and which organs, tissues and glands will be adversely affected.

Q. What's the big deal about a subluxation?

It's about much more than back or neck pain or sciatica. Leaving subluxations untreated in your body will lead to dysfunction and then disease. Subluxations are called "silent killers" because many times they have profound and serious affects and the patient doesn't even know he or she has subluxations which are causing the problem. This is why it is so important to have regular chiropractic check ups.
